- How much will it cost to protect my home?
There are two factors involved with this process. The first is, what FRCR (Fire Resistive Class Rating) can we use to best protect your home? The second is, is this a new home being built or an existing home? The best way to determine how we can best protect your home is to have us come out and do a free, no obligation, estimate. If your in the process of building a new home, then it is crucial that we determine what is needed before the framing is complete. The cost can vary from $1.00 to $1.60 per square foot of the home on a one part application.

- Who will apply the product and how is the product applied?
For the Wood Gard application, a certified applicator from No-Burn® Technology must apply it to insure a proper application for the best protection. The No-Burn® Plus Paint must be applied by a certified applicator in order to receive warranty and discounts on an FRCR 1 or 2 applications. Otherwise, a home owner may choose to apply it themselves. No-Burn® products may be applied by brush, roller or the preferred method of spraying it on with the proper spray rig.
- How long will it take to apply?
Of course the time will vary with the type of application, however, generally it takes no longer than it would to paint the inside of your home with regular paint.
- Are any of the No-Burn® products harmful in anyway?
As you may have seen throughout our site, No-Burn® products are environmentally safe. They meet or exceed the GREEN requirements. They are non-carcinogenic (non-cancerous). They are non-toxic (non-poisonous). They are one of the safest fire retardants on the market.
